Removing old paint from your model

Easy Off oven cleaner will strip paint, but the fumes can be noxious. The best way to use this thick cleaner is to place the body or parts in a large plastic zipper bag and spray the painted areas liberally with the oven cleaner. After coating the parts simply seal the bag and wait. You may have to repeat the process if the paint is particularly hard to penetrate.

The process should be done outdoors due to the fumes. You should also wear rubber gloves to keep the caustic cleaner from coming in contact with your skin.

This method is messy, but it works, usually within a few hours.
