Working with superglue

It is recommended that you scrape the chrome off a part before applying superglue to attach it to another part. You only need to remove the chrome from the part at the point(s) of attachment. You may want to use a toothpick to apply a smaller amount of glue to tiny parts and for getting into tight places. Always try to glue parts together in an area that will not be seen once adhered.

When using thin glues, let the capillary action pull the glue into the joint rather than trying to force the glue into it or applying so much glue that it flows out between the parts. Glue smears are generally a sigh that too much glue is being used or not enough care is being taken in handling the parts.
